I have to admit that when I first saw it I thought it was an awful spelling of grignard reaction since I hadn’t heard of a gewald reaction (at that I can remember). Then I looked it up and saw that it’s actually a super awesome reaction with nitriles and thiols which seems pretty fun and smelly. Probably should have just looked at the name lol
