Homopolar motors – just the one, & then twain of ’em – self-contained except insofar as they must have an electically-conducting dancefloor to do their dance on, dancing for our delectation.

Wow this guy gets on my nerves. I can’t stand people that have to try and sound smart. All his posts are titled similar. He should go get some mental help lol
“Delectation?” Seriously? Dude, I don’t know if you’re autistic, trying out your word of the day calendar, or a non-native speaker trying to sound fancy, but this is not how people speak. You just sound like a pompous ass. [People who try to use archaic big words to make themselves sound smart end up sounding dumber](https://www.businessinsider.com.au/use-simple-language-to-sound-smarter-2015-9). Throw away your word-a-day calendar. All you’ve done is create a prime case of /r/titlegore.
If you’re a non-native speaker, people really only use “delectable” in relation to food. Delectation is never used and I doubt has ever been used by anyone born after 1850. Here-and-there words (heretofore, therewith, etc) should also be used sparingly. “Thereby” and “therefore” are fine.

mhmm
The motors themselves are really cool but I’m also impressed at how smooth that foil they’re on is.
Someone found a thesaurus
Why
