Cyber-flashing: ‘I get explicit messages every day’

Fitness influencer Elle Edwards has actually talked to the BBC about handling explicit personal messages and cyber-flashing – the non-consensual sending out of images and videos of male genital areas.

She stated that she and a number of her peers are required to handle this type of abuse daily in their remarks and DMs.

On Wednesday the Law Commission launched suggestions proposing that cyber-flashing and violent online messages be prohibited by the federal government by means of a harms-based offense. This would forbid the practice in cases where damage is thought about to be most likely or planned by the sender.
