Spiderwebs are remarkably intricate building and constructions for things that are so fragile. Even if webs do not actually define the words “terrific” and “radiant” like those in the book “Charlotte’s Web” do, each is however a detailed engineering marvel. 

Building these strong yet ephemeral traps is a procedure that follows patterns shared amongst spider types. But exists space for private variation that makes one types’ web — or one private spider’s — recognizably various from another’s? Are all webs similar, or is every spiderweb special? And what aspects trigger spiders to differ their smooth webs?
