Actually the order in which this happens is three Na leave the pump gets phosphorylated, and ejects the Na. Then two of the K come in two the binding pocket of the pump and the phosphate leaves allowing the K to be pumped into the cell. Reply

It would have been better if the ATP turned into ADP at the end but I’m not picky.
