    Here is a gif of a test firing of the Vinci engine, the upper stage engine that will be used on Ariane 6. Currently in development, the Vinci engine will use LOX and LH2 for propellant, and is currently scheduled to fly on its maiden Ariane 6 flight in 2020. Ariane 6 is being introduced in order to reduce launch costs and increase Arianespace’s competitiveness in the launch market.

    Also, I know a lot of the gifs on this sub are more space related than spaceflight related, so hopefully this post is okay!
