How does half valving work? My friend half valves in order to make kind of a siren sound, but I’d like to know the reason why that works Reply
I’m relatively sure that trumpets work on half presses as well, or else a trumpet could only play 2^3 notes. Is it the same mechanism for that, only the valve just allows some of the air to go into the chambers? Reply
