Teacher did this with us first chemistry lesson of secondary school (uk).
We egged her on to make bigger and bigger lumps of foamy hydrogen filled bubbles.
Eventually they got large enough to make the paper cutouts of planets hanging from the ceiling catch fire, drop onto some textbooks, and set off the fire alarm/evacuate the school.
Teacher didn’t do any experiments involving fire with use for the remainder of the year…
