  1. The three last Apollo missions, Apollo 15, 16 and 17 brought [lunar rovers]( to the surface of the Moon. The lunar rover was stored on the lunar lander for the ride to the Moon. [Here you can see one being stored on the lunar lander]( Lunar rovers weighed 210 kg (463 lbs) and the farthest distance traveled with one was 35.9 km (22.3 mi) during Apollo 17.
