  1. I wouldn’t worry about the boom boom. Perchlorate and titanium are commonly used firework chemicals. The hydrazine perchlorate is a new one to me.

    Still, these are not super easy chemicals to acquire.

    Also, don’t be afraid of chemicals.

  2. I was a little surprised this reaction didn’t spontaneously start when he added the titanium powder after reading hydrazone in the title. I think I’ve just been watching to many videos about hydrazine in rocket engines, that might be a different hydrazine?

  3. I’ve used hydrazine for biological assays, nasty nasty stuff. Can cause cancer, death, burns you name it. Wouldn’t want to be around it’s combusted form.

  4. Thanks, I’ve seen two chemicals I haven’t heard of before from your posts today. Both of them scare me just from the name, and after watching the gifs I was not disappointed.
